Well-made set with a few minor issues

My daughter became interested in Renaissance fairs a few months ago and put her first costume together mostly by thrifting, with limited luck. We jumped at the opportunity for her to try this set, and we're glad we did. She is frustrated with the headpiece because it tangles easily and isn't a personal fan of the stockings, but otherwise she really likes the set. The ears and necklace are standard costume accessories, and the dress is well made and should last for many fairs. The green dress and the black skirted waist cincher are two separate pieces, which was a pleasant discovery. She's happy to have the added versatility and plans to use the black piece as an addition to her Halloween costume. The skirt is very short. Our only complaint is that the tips flop over easily because the inserted rod is not long enough to fill the entire space; we will likely add a few stitches at the top to help keep them positioned. At the time of the original review, the set was selling for about $39, and my daughter and I agreed we would absolutely pay that price. This is not a high-end costume, but it is a well-made set that will help you get started and last if you choose to keep it or integrate the pieces into new costume arrangements.

I absolutely loved it! I'm roughly 190 lb and 5 ft 7 in, and a Large was perfect for me. It's short, so just wear some spandex underneath and you're good!

So cute, but snug at the waist

I absolutely love this! The material is thick and worth the money, and it's super cute. I would size up at the waist if you have a bit of belly because it is tight to pull over the head and very tight when tying the corset.
